I joined Cardinal in March 2012, as a US IT recruiter and accelerated to the level where I manage a team and handle direct client accounts in the capacity of AGM- US Staffing. During my 10 years with Cardinal, I have seen the company gives opportunities for growth and advancement, they encourage employees to develop their potential by trusting in them, increasing responsibility, and letting them take on and own tasks. I’ve had tremendous personal and professional growth during my tenure. The growth opportunities here are in abundance for those who are willing to learn new things and face challenges. Onboarding process is unique. Carnation takes the time to set up an itinerary for each new employee and to meet and get to know fellow employees. Starting something new always comes with a mix bag of emotions, a person is scared as well as excited to begin a new phase of life. So, all we need at that time is a helping hand that can guide us the way through.
This phase of my life started on 9th May 2022. We new joiner were welcomed with 2 days orientation program, which was held under the guidance of Ms. Najish Rahman (HR Team) and Ms. Vaishali Singh (Learning & Development Team).
In these two days of onboarding program, we had it all, right from the detailed introduction of the company to the future vision of the company. We were also got a chance to interact with our colleagues through a game session. The games that were organised were bringing us back down to the memory lane and dreams that we are carrying with ourselves with a hope to make it into reality someday. The collage of our family and our childhood pictures were asked during the course of the program which made me realize that this is a company who values the employee emotions and wants to connect through it.
The various sessions were conducted in order to make ourselves familiar with the working culture of the organization. In a nut shell the whole onboarding experience was well executed and well absorbed which is the paramount as this is the maiden interaction between the new joiner and the organization.
I feel like I fit in company culture. I feel welcomed by my team. So far, I am satisfied with my job. I am happy with my career path. Overall, I am satisfied with the onboarding process.
I enjoy and look forward to showing up for work every day because of my amazing team ! I work with some of the brightest friendliest and most hard-working people that push the needle even further for our company. every day is new opportunity for me to learn and grow in my professional life.
